Intranet Migration & Platform Implementation

Challenge

Sharp's 22,000 employees needed a modern, centralized digital workplace on the Unily employee experience platform to replace an aging internally built intranet. This was a large-scale, multi-year initiative in need of a steady hand to bring it home.

Role

As project manager, I stepped in six months ahead of implementation as the primary point of contact across all internal stakeholder groups and the platform vendor, rebuilding project momentum and driving the initiative to a successful launch.

Approach

Partnered with the Digital Experience and Web Development teams to plan and document their content and application audit across 100+ stakeholders. Worked with cross-functional teams including identity and access management, human resources, internal Microsoft 365 specialists, public relations and internal communications to maximize platform features, establish governance, and create a seamless transition for employees.

Outcome

Delivered a full employee experience platform launch on time, creating a centralized "single source of truth" for employees with improved search and navigation, targeted communications, and a governance model built to support future AI-powered search and personalization.
